PGA Golf Club – Wanamaker
Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County
Course Overview
The Wanamaker Course at PGA Golf Club is the flagship Tom Fazio layout at PGA Village, stretching to 7,042 yards with a rating of 75.2. Named after the founder of the PGA of America, this championship course is the toughest of the three PGA Village layouts and has hosted numerous professional events. The Fazio design features bold bunkering, elevation changes unusual for South Florida, and dramatic water hazards that demand strategic thinking on every shot.
Fairway Conditions
Immaculately maintained Bermuda fairways befitting a PGA-branded facility. The conditioning is consistently excellent year-round — this is a resort-caliber course that doesn't cut corners. Greens are fast and well-contoured with Fazio's characteristic strategic bunkering framing every approach. The practice facility alone is worth the visit.
Why I Love This Course
â Alex Haigh
"If you want to understand what championship golf looks like on the Treasure Coast, start at the Wanamaker. This is a Fazio design that doesn't apologize — 7,042 yards from the tips, and the routing makes every yard count. I've played it in every season and the conditioning never drops. The whole PGA Village experience feels elevated, from the practice facility to the clubhouse. It's the kind of course that makes you want to bring your A-game."
