Sailfish Sands Golf Course
Stuart, Martin County
Course Overview
A Stuart municipal gem perched near the Sewall's Point waterfront, Sailfish Sands offers 18 holes of championship golf designed by Charles Ankrom and renovated by Bob Walker. With yardage from 6,510 at full length and a par-3 course option, it's one of the most versatile public courses on the Treasure Coast. Resident discounts make it an exceptional value for locals.
Fairway Conditions
Well-maintained Bermuda grass fairways with excellent drainage thanks to the renovated layout. The proximity to the St. Lucie River means morning dew is common, but conditions dry out quickly. Greens are consistent and well-paced — a solid municipal course that punches above its weight.

Why I Love This Course
â Alex Haigh
"This is where I tell people to start if they're visiting the Treasure Coast and just want to get a feel for the area. It's a municipal course, so it won't blow you away with luxury amenities — but the layout is honest, the location is beautiful, and you're playing golf near the water in Stuart. I've brought my kids here for twilight rounds and it's always a good time. Don't sleep on the par-3 course either — it's perfect for a quick evening round."
