Lifestyle & Amenities

GOLF

One of the things I love most about Windsor is the freedom on the course — no tee times, bring your dog along for the walk, and enjoy a layout that feels more like a private nature preserve than a typical Florida club. The terrain is genuinely unique here: serengeti-like undulations, wind-shaped trees, and rolling fairways that stretch out completely unobstructed by houses or development. The native tree borders frame every hole with a sense of privacy you rarely find. Windsor is also an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary — certified in November 2024 for environmental standards and wildlife habitat management — one of only about 900 courses worldwide to hold that distinction. The professional golf shop is fully stocked, and the on-staff golf pros offer personal instruction tailored to your game, whether you're just picking up a club or fine-tuning your swing.

EQUESTRIAN

Windsor was built on polo — the club's roots trace back to two original polo fields — and that heritage is alive and well today. The full Equestrian Centre features 26 stables, 14 paddocks, and a full-sized polo field that hosts exhibition matches throughout the season. Lessons and boarding are available for riders of all levels, and the children's polo team competes both nationally and internationally, which is pretty remarkable for a community club. Two highlights on the social calendar: the annual Argentine Asado, a South American barbecue complete with equestrian demonstrations, and the charity polo cups that draw international high-goal players. It's the kind of equestrian culture that makes Windsor feel like a world of its own.

TENNIS

The tennis program at Windsor caters to every skill level and age group, from beginners picking up a racquet for the first time to competitive players looking for match play. Private instruction is available from dedicated tennis pros, and the program is led by Director of Tennis Jony Leitenbauer, who brings a real energy to the courts. Whether you're looking for a casual hit or structured coaching, the setup here supports it.

FITNESS & WELLNESS

The fitness centre overlooks the Equestrian Centre paddocks — one of those small details that makes working out feel a lot less like a chore. You'll find state-of-the-art exercise and training equipment, plus personal training, yoga, Pilates, Qi Gong, and Zumba classes on the schedule. Onsite massage therapy is available in the Meditation Room for proper recovery and relaxation. And here's something worth knowing: a major expansion is planned for 2025, growing the facility to over 13,000 square feet in the North Village with new studios, spa treatments, and outdoor recreational spaces.

TRAILS & OUTDOORS

Windsor offers over 10.5 miles of trails that wind along the golf course perimeter and through shaded hammocks — ideal for walking, running, biking, and even horseback riding. The trail system connects directly to the North Village development, so as the community grows, so does the network. It's one of those amenities that residents use every single day, and it gives the whole property a sense of openness that you feel the moment you drive in.
