Boca Woods Country Club – Lakes Course
Boca Raton, Palm Beach County
Course Overview
The Lakes Course at Boca Woods is the more dramatic of the club's two layouts, designed by Karl Litten and recently redesigned by Kipp Schulties. Playing 6,862 yards with a slope of 142, it brings water into play on 15 of its 18 holes — a high risk, high reward design that demands smart course management. The Schulties redesign elevated the course to modern standards while preserving Litten's strategic vision.
Fairway Conditions
Immaculately conditioned following the Schulties redesign. The water-intensive layout requires excellent drainage, which the course delivers. Bermuda fairways are lush and well-maintained with strategic shaping. The green complexes are among the most challenging in Boca Raton.
Why I Love This Course
â Alex Haigh
"The Lakes Course is where you go at Boca Woods when you want a real test. Water on 15 holes means your course management has to be sharp — this isn't a course you can overpower. The Schulties redesign brought everything up to modern standards, and the result is one of the most strategic private courses in Boca Raton. Bring extra balls and your A-game."
