Course Overview

Heritage Ridge Golf Club is a public course designed by Dom Fazio, set within the Heritage Ridge community of condos, villas, and single-family homes off US-1, north of downtown Hobe Sound. GolfPass lists it as built in 1981. The par 70 plays 6,014 yards from the Black tees (68.9 rating, 120 slope), with six sets of tees down to 4,067 yards, so it is one of the more approachable 18-hole courses on the Treasure Coast: the kind of course where you can have a genuinely good round without being a scratch golfer. The scoring comes from a demanding set of par 3s, including four of 200 yards or more from the back tees, balanced by short risk-reward par 4s and water on holes like the par-5 8th. Greens are Champion Ultra Dwarf Bermuda, and the restaurant and bar overlook the finishing holes.

“Heritage Ridge is the course I recommend when someone tells me they want a good round without breaking the bank. It's not going to blow you away with luxury, but the layout is solid, the pace of play is usually good, and the pricing makes it a fantastic value. I've played it many times with clients who are considering Hobe Sound, and it's always a pleasant experience. Sometimes the best golf is the uncomplicated kind.”

Green Fees & Rates

Public. Open to everyone, with tee times 7 days out.

Posted rates include greens fee, cart, and tax: $74 from 7 am to 1 pm, $59 from 1 to 3 pm, and $49 from 3 pm to close, with 9 holes for $45 after noon. Juniors 13 to 17 get a junior rate with a paying adult, and the club offers Young Professional, student, and military discounts. Members book 14 days out; the public books 7 days out, online or by phone at (772) 546-2800.

2025-26 Memberships (October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026)

No initiation fees, monthly minimums, or assessments. Members pay a cart fee each round ($22 for 18 holes, $15 for 9) and get 14-day advance tee times, leagues, a 20% pro shop discount, event hosting discounts, tournaments, social events, and USGA handicap service.
