Course Overview

Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club is a private, member-owned equity club community in Palm City, spread across 885 acres along roughly two miles of the St. Lucie River with direct ocean access. It pairs two 18-hole championship courses with a full-service yacht club and marina, and it is divided into 28 villages of custom homes, golf homes, villas, and riverfront condominiums. Golden Marsh, the original course, opened in 1984 as a Joe Lee design and was redesigned by Bobby Weed in 2018; it winds through natural lakes and marshes under palms and oaks, with open fairways that forgive wayward drives but strategic angles around the hazards. River Ridge, designed by father and son Pete and P.B. Dye and opened in 1989, winds through wetlands and carries one of the highest slope ratings in Florida at 147 from the Black tees. Both courses are Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries, alongside a 20-acre nature preserve.

Fairway Conditions

The two courses play very differently. River Ridge is the stern test, winding through wetlands with a 147 slope from the tips, while Golden Marsh rewards angles and hazard avoidance but gives you wide fairways off the tee. Each offers five sets of tees plus rated combination tees, down to about 4,200 and 4,500 yards. The club is renovating its South Practice Tee and Short Game Area to create a larger, more versatile practice space.
