Course Overview

Glynlea Country Club is the golf centerpiece of Wylder, a 560-acre gated, master-planned community by GreenPointe in western Port St. Lucie. It is the first signature design from Jim Furyk, built with Mike Beebe of Furyk Golf Design, and it opened on November 7, 2025. Hampton Golf manages the club. The par-72 course plays 6,630 yards from the Navy tees down to 4,971 from the Teal tees, with seven tee options including combination sets, and a mix of five par 3s and five par 5s that includes a 590-yard 14th from the tips. The Navy tees rate 71.2 with a 121 slope, so the course is built to be playable rather than punishing. Glynlea offers resident memberships to Wylder homeowners and also takes public tee times through its online booking page. Homebuilders in Wylder include Lennar, Perry Homes, and Dream Finders Homes.

Fairway Conditions

Glynlea is a new grow-in, so expect conditions to keep maturing over its first seasons. Early public feedback is strong but thin: GolfPass shows 4.8 out of 5 from four reviews, with course conditions, layout, and value each at 4.8, friendliness at 5.0, pace of play at 4.3, and amenities at 4.0. Google reviews average about 4.7. Treat these as early impressions and check with the golf shop for current course and cart-path conditions.

Alex's Take

From Alex Haigh

“Glynlea is the most exciting new course to open on the Treasure Coast in years. Jim Furyk's design brings a tour player's perspective. You can feel it in the routing and the way the holes set up. The Toptracer driving range is a blast for practice sessions, and the whole Wylder community around it feels like it's building something special. This is a course I'll be watching closely as it matures.”
