Banyan Creek Golf Club is a private 18-hole club at 1701 SW Crane Creek Ave in Palm City, on the former Martin Downs Crane Creek site. Charles Ankrom designed the original layout in 1972. A 2016 rebuild by Arthur Young and Harry Bowers refreshed the course before it reopened around 2017 as Banyan Creek; TCPalm coverage also credits Tom Pearson in that rebuild era. The club markets a Carolina-style routing with rolling fairways, mature trees, water hazards, and bunkering, set among nature rather than lining every hole with homes. Membership is intentionally limited so members can find tee times and play at a pace that fits them. From the Black tees the club scorecard lists 7,036 yards, par 72.

Members describe a lush Carolina-style feel with rolling Bermuda fairways, mature tree corridors, and water in play on several holes. Public review volume on GolfPass is thin (2.8/5 from five reviews), so conditioning comments should be read as anecdotal. Palm City shares Martin County's humid subtropical pattern: mild, drier winters and warm, humid summers that still support year-round golf. Peak season from November through April brings comfortable mid-70s highs. Summers push into the upper 80s and low 90s with typical afternoon thunderstorms from June through September.

There is no public tee sheet. Play is for members and their guests under club guest policies. Per the club's 2026-2027 rate sheet (Nov 1, 2026 to Oct 31, 2027), guest fees are $110 in season and $75 non-season for a visiting family member, $140 in season and $95 non-season for an accompanied guest, and $160 in season and $120 non-season for an unaccompanied guest, plus 6.5% Florida sales tax.
